We’ll get down to the serious business of what to do with the leftovers (pomace) from pressing, as well as work with fresh apples. We’ll do some canning, drying (two methods) and freezing. We’ll start making vinegar, fruit leather, and sauce. We’ll discuss the science of canning and discuss different varieties of apples and their uses.
This is an adult workshop.
